Tour of Kitchen Garden Schools...23rd March

TOUR SOME OF QUEENSLAND’S LEADING KITCHEN GARDEN SCHOOLS
Have you seen the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program in action?
The Kitchen Garden Foundation invites you to join the first ever bus tour of some of Queensland’s leading Kitchen Garden Schools.
This is a rare opportunity to visit established Kitchen Garden Schools in the Brisbane and Gold Coast region that have been running the Kitchen Garden Program for several years and are now reaping the incredible benefits of this innovative and very successful Program.
Tour participants will be able to view kitchen and garden classes in action, speak to staff from Kitchen Garden Schools, as well as Foundation staff, and enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch.
This inspirational day will showcase four beautiful and productive Queensland school gardens as well as their home-style kitchens, and is designed to give participants a chance to get closer to the Kitchen Garden Program in action.
‘I highly recommend the Kitchen Garden Schools Tour as the perfect way for anyone interested to learn all about the Kitchen Garden Program. Seeing is believing – you will be amazed by all that the children are doing.’ (Stephanie Alexander)
The tours are suitable for everyone interested in viewing the Kitchen Garden Program in action – new Kitchen Garden School staff very much encouraged to attend.
