Habitat Investigation Roadshow
Thanks to
funding from the Gambling Community Committee, the Queensland
Murray-Darling
Committee (QMDC), the Amaroo Environmental Education Centre and
the University
of Southern Queensland are hitting the road in March 2014! We are
hitching up a
fully-equipped Science Van and taking our Habitat Investigation Field Day
Program to
Mitchell, Roma, St George, Goondiwindi and
Dalby.
Students will be able to conduct field studies with
either a
catchment or biodiversity focus and teachers in the
area will be
able to attend free professional development
sessions. We
offer the program in the Toowoomba region
each year but
thought it would be helpful to head west and
help students
investigate their local habitats. Keep an eye on
the QMDC
Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/qmdc.nrm)
